Is your headshot current?
Would clients or an employer recognize you in your current headshot? Your headshot should be 3 years old or less and should reflect your current look. And, most importantly, you should have a quality headshot, not an iPhone capture or one you snagged from a recent wedding you attended. What is the most successful corporate look? LinkedIn says the most successful LinkedIn profile image is one where you look slightly happy. Many employers are looking at your profile before they agree to interview you. Let your image help you nail your interview before you even arrive.
What to wear?
Traditional corporate attire is appropriate for conservative industries, while service related industries can afford to be a bit more casual (lose the tie, guys) and show more personality. Solids work great in every image.
Ladies, be sure to have your roots touched up before our session. No one needs to know about those grays!
Gentlemen, check that collar! Feeling snug? Grab a new shirt! No need to have a bulging neck from a tight collar.
